1. Purpose & Scope
Harmony Bridge is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults with whom we work. This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, board members, consultants, and partners.
2. Key Principles
- The welfare of children and vulnerable adults is paramount
- All children and vulnerable adults have the right to protection from abuse regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, or beliefs
- Working in partnership with children, young people, their parents/carers, and other agencies is essential
- All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately
3. Staff Responsibilities
- Complete mandatory safeguarding training before engaging with beneficiaries
- Report any concerns about child welfare to the designated Safeguarding Officer
- Follow the organization's Code of Conduct at all times
- Never use personal devices to photograph or record beneficiaries
- Maintain appropriate boundaries in all interactions

Any concerns about child abuse or the welfare of a vulnerable adult must be reported immediately to the designated Safeguarding Officer. In case of immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.

1. Policy Statement
Harmony Bridge maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards fraud, corruption, bribery, and other financial misconduct. All staff, partners, and stakeholders are expected to act with integrity and report any suspected irregularities.
2. Definition of Fraud
Fraud includes but is not limited to:
- Theft of funds, assets, or resources
- Falsification of documents, records, or claims
- Misappropriation or misuse of organizational funds
- Accepting or offering bribes or kickbacks
- Conflict of interest that results in personal gain
- Manipulation of financial records or reports
3. Prevention Measures
- Segregation of duties in financial processes
- Regular internal and external audits
- Mandatory financial management training
- Clear authorization levels for expenditure
- Transparent procurement procedures
4. Consequences
Any person found to have committed fraud will face disciplinary action up to and including termination. Criminal prosecution may be pursued where appropriate. Recovery of losses will be sought through all available legal means.

1. Commitment
Harmony Bridge is committed to providing a work environment free from sexual harassment. We believe all employees have the right to work in an environment free from intimidation, hostility, and offensive behavior. This policy complies with the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010.
2. What Constitutes Sexual Harassment
- Unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors
- Verbal harassment including jokes, comments, or innuendos of a sexual nature
- Non-verbal conduct such as gestures, display of pornographic material
- Physical conduct including touching, assault, or impeding movement
- Quid pro quo harassment - making employment decisions based on submission to harassment
- Creating a hostile work environment through pervasive unwelcome conduct
3. Inquiry Committee
An Inquiry Committee has been constituted to investigate complaints of sexual harassment. The committee includes at least one female member and operates with complete confidentiality.
4. Complaint Procedure
- Submit a written complaint to the Inquiry Committee within 30 days of the incident
- Investigation will be completed within 30 days
- Both parties have the right to be heard
- Appeal can be made to the Ombudsman within 30 days of the decision
